Installation Workflow

The following table lists the installation tasks. Use this information as a guide when you install the 1130C.

Review the Safety Guidelines before you install the appliance.

Step	Action	Purpose
1	Verify the box contents.	Confirm that your appliance arrived complete.
2	Mount the appliance in a rack or on a tabletop or shelf.	Install the appliance in a permanent location.
3	Connect a power supply.	Connect the 1130C to a power source.
4	Configure the appliance. Do one of the following: Configure the Management Interface from the Console Port Configure the Management Interface from the Management Port	Configure the following settings: Admin password Host attributes settings Time settings DNS settings Data plane settings
5	Connect the network cable.	Establish a network connection.
